Night vision in Europe, shipped from Switzerland
DTD Systems GmbH is a small team in Switzerland selling night vision and thermal fusion to people who buy their own equipment. A device bought in Switzerland and delivered into the European Union crosses a customs border and an export control regime on the way. Most sellers do not explain that anywhere. This page does.
Where we deliver
We deliver to Switzerland, and from Switzerland to the 27 member states of the European Union, plus Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein.
The United Kingdom is not served. Neither is any country outside that list. We would rather you read that here than discover it at the checkout.
Export clearance, and who does it
Night vision and thermal devices are dual-use goods under Swiss export control law. Every controlled device leaving Switzerland needs an individual export licence from the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and a signed End User Certificate naming you as the end user.
We handle the filing. You sign one document. There is a wait between your payment and dispatch while the licence is processed, and we will tell you what to expect for your country rather than guess at it in a sentence on a web page.
If clearance is refused, you are refunded in full. Spare parts and accessories are not controlled goods and ship without a certificate.
Tax, and why you are not charged twice
Swiss value added tax is removed at the checkout on every delivery outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein. You see the reduction in the cart before you pay.
Import VAT and any duty in your own country are yours, and the carrier collects them at delivery. On a device this is a real sum, so budget for it. Every shipment is declared at its full value. We do not mark a device as a gift or a sample.
After it arrives
Two years of warranty on everything we sell. Devices we build to your configuration are assembled in Switzerland and the tube data sheet ships in the box.

What we will not do
We do not ship to sanctioned jurisdictions, and we do not broker. Russia and Belarus are excluded permanently, at every layer of the business.
