DTD Jerry 14
DTD Jerry 14
A light, honest monocular that does the important things well without asking you to pay for the things you will not use. One eye through the device, one eye on the dark. On a helmet or in the hand.
At 250 grams without a battery, it is genuinely unnoticeable on a helmet over a long night, and it still carries the features that matter: an infrared illuminator for close work, manual gating, focus and diopter adjustment, and a low-battery warning before the cell runs out.
Come and look through one at the showroom in Villmergen, by appointment.

Questions before you buy
Why choose this over the PVS-14?
The Jerry 14 is our budget monocular. It carries a fixed, manually gated tube rather than the range of autogated tubes the PVS-14 offers, which is what keeps the price down. The protection is there, you set it yourself instead of the tube adapting on its own, so around street lighting and vehicle headlights the autogated options are less work. For dark country, the Jerry 14 does the job at a fraction of the price.
What does manual gating mean in practice?
The tube is gated, but you set the gating yourself instead of the tube switching its voltage automatically as the scene changes. In genuinely dark conditions you will not notice the difference. Where light levels change quickly, an autogated tube adapts without you having to do anything.
Can I try it before I buy?
Yes. The showroom in Villmergen has a dark room for side-by-side comparison, by appointment.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. We run our own instalment plans in-house for customers resident in Switzerland: at least 50 per cent down, the balance split to suit you, and a modest interest rate. Ask us and we will put together an offer.
Do you ship outside Switzerland?
Yes. We deliver to Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the EU and Schengen countries. Deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein need a signed End User Certificate; we send it after payment, complete the export clearance and dispatch with tracking.
Is bright light a risk for this device?
Yes, more than for our autogated devices: the gating is manual, so nothing steps in by itself when strong light hits the screen. Power it on only in darkness, cap it when in doubt, and treat street lamps, headlights and daylight with respect. Damage caused by exposing the tube to bright light in breach of the operating instructions is not covered by the warranty.
Export and delivery
Export and delivery
Night vision and thermal devices ship to Switzerland, Liechtenstein and EU/Schengen countries only. Deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein require a signed End User Certificate: after payment we send you the certificate, you sign and return it, we complete Swiss export clearance, and your device is dispatched with tracking. If clearance cannot be obtained for your country, the order is refunded in full. Spare parts and accessories are not controlled goods: they ship without a certificate. Collection at the Villmergen showroom, by appointment, is free of charge.
