The Iris Diaphragm is a precision accessory designed for seamless control of light entering the objective of your PVS-14, NT920, or NT1431 night vision device. Engineered to protect the image intensifier tube from overexposure, it allows the user to manually adjust the aperture, balancing brightness and clarity according to operational needs.

Beyond light regulation, the iris can be partially or fully closed to enhance depth of field, enabling sharper focus on both near and distant targets, similar to the effect achieved with a pinhole cap. The device incorporates a sacrificial lens and protective cover to safeguard the optical system during demanding use.

Constructed from durable aluminum, the iris diaphragm mounts easily without tools. The threading diameter measures 30.4mm, and the adjustable aperture ranges from 1.5mm to 22mm, offering versatile control for precision night vision applications.
