DTD PVS-31
A dual-tube binocular built to be light. Slim, well balanced and noticeably kinder on the neck across a long night than heavier designs, which is the difference between a device you wear all night and one you take off.
Both eyes work, so depth perception is natural. Flip it up and it powers down; flip it down and it wakes. Leave it still and it puts itself to sleep. The lenses and tubes come apart without tools when it needs cleaning or servicing.

Questions before you buy
Which tube should I choose?
FOM is signal-to-noise ratio multiplied by resolution. It ranks tubes on paper, but it does not show noise behaviour, halo or edge sharpness. Higher tiers buy you a cleaner image in less light; the Gen3 and NVT7 options sit at the top of this range.
What does autogating do?
An autogated tube switches its voltage automatically to protect itself and hold contrast when bright light enters the scene, street lamps included. Non-gated tubes are offered in the lower tiers.
What does the 3PIN option mean?
Three-pin tubes support manual gain control. On the PVS-31 you rotate the power switch to raise or lower the amplification, and the device can store your preferred default brightness.
How long does it run?
A single AA cell powers the device for 15 hours or more. An external battery pack over the Fischer cable extends that past 50 hours at normal temperatures.

Night vision and thermal devices ship to Switzerland, Liechtenstein and EU/Schengen countries only. Deliveries outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein require a signed End User Certificate: after payment we send you the certificate, you sign and return it, we complete Swiss export clearance, and your device is dispatched with tracking. If clearance cannot be obtained for your country, the order is refunded in full. Spare parts and accessories are not controlled goods: they ship without a certificate. Collection at the Villmergen showroom, by appointment, is free of charge.
